I am writing this in rememberance of all who have lost their lives on Lake Superior while aboard a ship in November. There is only one day in November that a ship did not go down. Autumn is upon us... I ask you all to get outside and enjoy the sights and sounds. Visit a Cider Mill... Go to a Corn Maze... Go on a Hay ride with friends and family... Enjoy the trees as their leaves change colors... October is the month of the Hunters Moon (Oc. 12) and also Sweetest day (Oct. 15)    I find this kind of ironic, what was the hunter after?    Was he successful? I have been busy the last few weeks, getting ALL of my winters supply of firewood cut and stacked up. Enjoy the autumn days and evenings, they will not be with us for much longer.

It is that time of the year where I live, cool in the morning, warming up during the day, the autumn leaves will be coming on soon, and the garden plants will be harvested, if not done already. This is one of my favorite times of year, it preludes Winter!!!! I can do without the wet and rain, but I can not change that, so i just go with it and make the best of times. I lost a dear friend this summer, I have had a spell getting over her, she and I had been together for 14 years.
